What is the currency in Montenegro?
Easy and convenient, Montenegro is using Euros!

If I arrive by car to Montenegro, where can I park it safely when I will be away for my sailing trip?
The Kotor Marina is not equipped with a private parking lot yet, but parking in the street is pretty safe in Kotor. Otherwise, there are lots of private parking lots close to the marina, which cost around 50€/car/week

Can I sail from Montenegro up to Croatia or to any other country?
Of course! Our boats have all navigation permits for Croatia, Albania and EU countries (Italy, Greece, …)

Can I leave the boat somewhere else than at your base?
Yes! However, we charge you the transfer costs back to Kotor. Consequently, the amount depends on where you choose to leave the boat. E.g.: it is more expensive to leave it in Split than in Dubrovnik. Contact us for a customised offer.

What is the standard 7-days route?
Please see our recommended routes! In any case, if you have special wishes, our team is here to give you advice and tips about sailing in our area.

Can you do the grocery shopping for us?
Yes, we do that. We send you our supply list, all you need to do is check the items that you need, and you pay at the base. Your grocery will be waiting for you on board.

Do we need to bring bed sheets and towels?
Bed sheets, covers, pillows and pillow covers are included in the price of the rental. Towels are charged 10€/person (not obligatory).

Is there security equipment on board?
Yes. Safety is our main preoccupation. You will find all necessary security equipments on the boat.

Which days of the week can I begin and end my charter?

Weekly charters usually begin and end on Saturdays for multiples of seven days. It is possible to offer boat less than 7 days or to start and finish out of usual days, but not in the peak of season, or when we have last minute offer.

What qualifications do I need to charter a bareboat yacht?
To charter a sailing yacht in Montenegro it is necessary to have sailing certificates proving their competence. (sailing licence and licence for VHF station)

If we charter with a skipper, what kind of skipper are we likely to get?
The competent, friendly and professional. Not only will he make sure you get safely from port to port, but he’ll be your guide to best places to visit, and if you’d like, your personal sailing instructor! We will familiarize you with your skipper before you go, and will also brief the skipper of the nature of your group. Read more about our skippers

Do we have to pay for skipper’s food during our trip?
Yes, you have to pay for your skipper’s food no matter if you eat in restaurant or on board.

At what time can we embark and disembark?
Check-ins are on Saturday afternoons after 4:00 p.m. but it can be sooner if the boat is cleaned and fixed earlier. Just contact us, we will let you know if is it possible to embark earlier. You have to disembark at Saturday morning before 8:00 or 9:00 a.m.. But we suggest you to return to the marina on Friday evening.
