Structural Repairs / Fiberglass Repair

Whether it is a minor accident or major hurricane damage, our experienced and qualified technicians can perform the correct fiberglass repair to insure the structural integrity of your vessel. From simple rub rail damage to deck repair and hull restructures, we’ll get you boating again.

Wet Sanding

Often a Gel Coat surface can be brought back to life by wet sanding. This procedure will remove the damaged layers leaving a fresh, glistening surface preventing the need for costly re-spray or painting services. In some cases spot gel coat repairs can be combined with this service to maximize results.

Teak Regeneration

Sometimes simple teak deck cleaning isn’t enough to bring the teak back to life. We will perform a regeneration process to bring back the teak decks original beauty. (Please note this will only be able to be performed a limited number of times, therefore this is only recommended if absolutely necessary.) Once teak cleaning has been completed you will have the choice to leave the fresh looking teak natural, or apply teak oil.

Sail Care

Sails need regular attention, whether to restitch sacrificial headsail suncovers degraded by the sun, repair mainsail batten pocket chafe, correct an unfortunate encounter with a fixed object, or anything else in need of improvement. Avel Yachting in partnership with Grego Sails offers the most experienced sail maintenance and repair services available in Montenegro. Our staff is trained to identify common sail problems before they turn into expensive and inconvenient disasters, and like with most things on a boat, we recommend regular inspection at least once a year. When repairs are needed, we evaluate each job by examining the extent of the damage, the anticipated lifespan of the sail, and the future plans of the sailor, to make the most appropriate service recommendations and estimates before proceeding.
