Kotor carnival - February 14th - 22nd - Kotor
Great yearly held carnival with traditional masked ball, majorettes, children’s carnival, promotion of local cuisine, concerts etc. The traditional Kotor carnival is the biggest entertaining manifestation in Montenegro. Several thousands of people visit Kotor carnival. Except the carnival troupes from Kotor and from other coastal and other towns of Montenegro, in Kotor carnival many carnival groups from Europe and world take part in.

Bokeljska noc - Mid February - Tivat (Boka night)

Camellia Day - Mid March - Stoliv, Kotor
According to a legend, in 1870 this flower was brought by a Stoliv captain from the Far East (Japan) to the Boka Kotorska to give it to his wife.
Camellia compositions exhibition, concert, camellia party and election of the Lady of Camellia.

A rich manifestation with a range of festivities and shows.

Day of youth - May, 25th - Tivat
A manifestation which is held on the 25th of May, on the date which in the history of Former SFRJ was better known as the Youth day – the birthday of the Yugoslav president Josip Broz Tito. On the 25th of May in Tivat a large number of Yugo nostalgic people gather. As a part of the program of the “Days of youth” celebration, the former anthem “Hey Slavs” is being performed. Cultural, entertaining programs, concerts are also part of the show.

Pro Beach Soccer – First week end in May - Montenegro Open - Ulcinj
Traditional tournament in football on sand which is held on Ulcinj’s Mala plaza. Very visited and attractive.

Festival of the under water film - Kotor
Manifestation to present the Montenegrin under water word. Many domestic and foreign moviemaker are present. During the several days of the program on projections you can see the beauties of the under water world, as well as the exceptional skills of the divers.

International dance festival - Second week end in June - Budva
Yearly held performance which gathers dozens of dance schools from the region. The competitions are held by age and by disciplines.

Bar’s chronicle - Beginnning of July - Bar
The most important manifestation in Bar in general. Bar’s chronicle is the festival with various programs which include: theater plays by local and foreign troupes, fine art exhibitions, literary nights, concerts of spiritual and classical music all over Bar town.

Music festival - July, 5th-7th – Suncane skale (Sunny stairs) - Herceg Novi
The second biggest music festival in Montenegro. It gives a chance to young authors and performers to step into the world of music. Many Balkan stars visit the festival.

Days of music - July, 14th-24th - Herceg Novi
Classic music event to promote Montenegrin talents.

International festival of theater for children - Beginning of July - Kotor
Balkan theater troupes gather in the old town of Kotor to offer original shows to the children.

Fasinada – July, 22nd - Perast
The Fasinada is a ritual procession of decorated boats and barges, which traditionally goes around the island of Gospa od Skrpjela in Perast to throw rocks around the island shore. Folk songs accompanies the procession, and only men can be part of it.

Fasinada Cup - July, 21st -22nd – Tivat – Perast – Tivat
On the occasion of the Fasinada tradition, a regatta is organised between Perast and Porto Montenegro, the new Tivat marina: www.fasinada-cup.com

Pro Arte Festival - End of July - Kotor
For the admirers of nice sound, classic and spiritual, chamber and instrumental music the most interesting is the music festivity named Kotor Pro Arte. Concerts are held in Kotor churches and concert halls.

International fashion festival - End of July - Kotor
Fashion festival lasts for several days and it gathers fashion designers from Montenegro and abroad (Dolce Gabanna, Pal Zileri, Prada, Armani, Ferre, Versace…)

Summer scene - Ulcinj
This summer festival is lasting for a month and presents theatre plays, concerts of local bands and orchestras, fine art exhibitions in the Old town of Ulcinj.

Budva Music Festival - Beginning of August - Budva
The biggest music festival on the south of the Adriatic. Have already performed there: Rolling Stones, Lenny Kravitz, Goran Bregovic, Boney M, Madonna…

Entrance – Festival of electronic music - Mid August - Rose, Herceg Novi
Electronic music in the middle of the wild nature. Has attended: DJ Beni Benassi.

International summer carnival - Beginning of August - Kotor
Similar to the winter one, the summer carnival is meant for fun and party on the streets and squares of Kotor.

Boka night - End of August - Kotor
Costumed small boats parade, water show, firework, election of the most beautiful/original costumed boat.

Lastva festivities - First Saturday in August - Lastovo, Tivat
This manifestation is held in the village Gornja Lastva (above Tivat) and is organised by the association “Napredak” (Progress) and Tivat’s center of culture. The fest is composed of artistic programs, dance circle of “Boka Navy” accompanied by Music educational association “Tivat”: they dance, play and sing original Lastva songs. “The dinners in the mill” dedicated to clapper music songs, a traditional way of singing in the Boka Kotorska is one of the most beautiful moments of the fiesta.

Tivat’s cultural summer - All summer long - Tivat
This summer festival is lasting for a month and presents theatre plays, literary evenings, concerts of local bands and orchestras, fine art exhibitions. It all takes place on Tivat’s summer stage, located in the summerhouse Buca.

Kotor Boat Show - First week-end in September - Kotor marina
Small, but very well organised, this Boat Show attracts many local people as well as tourists and expats interested in buying a boat, or for having a look! Avel Yachting is present each year, and we are so far the only sailboat exhibitor!

Adriatic Parachuting Cup - Herceg Novi
Herceg Novi competition in more and more popular parachuting has started just a few years ago, and it already attracts a great number of admirers of this extreme sport.
